Yoga Retreats in Ibiza and the UK to Reset, Reconnect and Restore Balance
Ananda Yoga Retreats offer space to step away from the pace of everyday life — to rest, practice, and reconnect with yourself in beautiful, supportive surroundings.
Blending energising Vinyasa practice with restorative sessions, nourishing food and time in nature, our retreats are designed to help you feel steadier, clearer and more at ease when you return home.
Whether you join us on one of our UK yoga retreats or our Ibiza yoga retreats, each retreat is held with the same intention: to create a welcoming space where you can pause, reset, and find your balance again.

The Yoga Retreat Experience

The Experience
“You don’t need to change your life.
You just need space to hear yourself again.”
- Ananda Yoga Retreats
Our retreats are intentionally small and thoughtfully held, creating the conditions for a genuine reset — physically, mentally and emotionally. Days unfold with yoga, nourishing food, time in nature and moments of connection that arise naturally when people gather with a shared intention.
Not a schedule to survive, but a rhythm to soften into.
Why Our Yoga Retreats Feel Different
Our retreats are designed for those who feel curious to explore yoga beyond the physical practice. Alongside daily classes, there is space to delve into the wider tradition of yoga through philosophy, breath work, meditation and sound healing, all held within a supportive and welcoming environment.
The experience is intentionally balanced — with time for practice, time to rest, and time to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and the care that goes into each shared meal.
For many guests, it is this blend of thoughtful practice, beautiful setting and genuine connection that makes the experience feel both grounding and restorative.
Who Our Yoga Retreats Tend To Attract
Our retreats tend to attract thoughtful, open-minded people who value meaningful experiences and a sense of balance in their lives. Many guests join on their own, and the small group settings create an easy sense of connection as the hours unfold.
Guests arrive from different backgrounds and stages of practice, yet what they tend to share is an appreciation for wellbeing, learning and time spent in good company.

AMY FARNWORTH
I cannot begin to describe the effects each yoga practice had on me, and being a seasoned yogi and a teacher myself, the curation was profound... "I have just returned from a truly exceptional weekend away with Ananda Yoga Retreats. This is the second time I have retreated with Madeline and her team and I have to say, this time was even better than the first. I cannot begin to describe the effects each yoga practice had on me, and being a seasoned yogi and a teacher myself, the curation was profound - each class carefully created to fit with the seasonal shifts, speaking to every individual on a physical, mental, emotional and energetic level (yes there were tears, but oh my, there were plenty of laughs and smiles too). Ananda's retreats are a work of magic for the soul and the spirit. I can't wait to return." Amy Farnworth - Google review

Her insights, philosophy and ability to communicate and challenge we yogis to better ourselves was incredible..... This was my second retreat with Ananda because the first was quite simply, amazing. This year it was a joy and privilege to take part in Ananda’s Ibizan retreat. Madeline's a truly brilliant and inspiring teacher who creates a dynamic, tranquil and uplifting yoga experience. Her insights, philosophy and ability to communicate and challenge we yogis to better ourselves was incredible. The food was stunning and the location was a wow. I’m already looking forward to our next retreat. William Luff - Google review

I felt held and inspired throughout, the experience and authenticity of the guidance shone through.. I have just returned from an Ananda retreat in Ibiza and the first word that springs to mind for me is WOW! The venue, food, people and general vibe were gorgeous. However, the stand out for me were the beautifully constructed practices. I felt held and inspired throughout, the experience and authenticity of the guidance shone through. I’ll miss the morning breath work so much, although the intention is to continue with the practices I’ve learnt, and going forward I hope to recreate some of the Ananda magic in my own classes. Madeline was absolutely incredible; authentic and led from the heart, she’s the real deal. I spent an amazing weekend with Ananda Yoga Retreats in The Lake District for a friend’s birthday. It was beautiful from start to finish, every detail; from the breathtaking location overlooking Coniston Water, to the spacious accommodation, and delicious nourishing wholesome food. The yoga with Madeline was absolutely incredible; authentic and led from the heart, she’s the real deal. We soaked up her energising mandala practice, soothing yin, breath work and sound healing. I left feeling so calm and centred. I also enjoyed a gorgeous relaxing massage with Mel. Highly recommended! Thanks, Team Ananda, I’ll be back. Amy Singh - Google review

The Yoga teaching was just outstanding, second to none! Ananda Yoga Retreats, you surpassed all my expectations! You are Amazing! The staff could not have been anymore helpful, each and everyone made you feel welcome and special. The Yoga teaching was just outstanding, second to none! The YIN was luscious, so much knowledge about around energy channels etc, The sound bath was out of this world and just so unexpected! So intelligently integrated into the class, it left me wanting more. The food utterly scrumptious! I will 100% be returning as a forever fan. Thank you all . Namaste 🙏 Sue Kennedy - Google review

This is by FAR the best - and most authentic- retreat I have attended here in the UK... Madeline is one of the most generous and thoughtful people I’ve ever met- pair that with exceptional knowledge, skill and kindness… this is by FAR the best - and most authentic- retreat I have attended here in the UK. I was going through a big health crisis when I attended this retreat and Madeline not only accommodated my dietary requirements but reignited my passion for yoga and meditation. I turned a corner during those few days. I released so much from my body during her Yin practice and sobbed through her sound bath… my body and mind needed this retreat and having studied these modalities myself in LA I can say without a shadow of doubt that you are in very, very safe and loving hands with Madeline. There were lots of elements of my life that had to change when I received my diagnosis in order to heal and I believe this retreat was what reminded me of my body’s innate healing abilities. It was also these practices that allowed me to release the anger and sadness that was necessary to move forward. If you’re unsure about any element of this retreat I would say trust that you’ve been directed to Ananda Retreats for a reason. You won’t be disappointed. A Personal Approach to Retreats

For over a decade, Ananda Yoga Retreats has been welcoming guests from around the world to step away from daily life and reconnect through yoga, nature, and carefully held retreat experiences.
Ananda Yoga Retreats is an independently run retreat company, personally hosted and carefully designed by our team.
Every retreat you see on our website is created and held by us, rather than organised through a large booking platform or agency. This means the experience you read about — and the experience reflected in our five-star guest reviews — is the retreat we genuinely deliver.
From the yoga practices and meditation to the food, the atmosphere, and the rhythm of the retreat, every element is thoughtfully curated to create a space where people can truly rest, reconnect, and feel supported.
Many of our guests return year after year or come through personal recommendations, which is something we feel deeply grateful for.

Reconnect With What Really Matters
Stepping away from your usual environment creates space for something to shift. Without the constant demands of daily life, your nervous system softens, your breath deepens, and your attention begins to return to the present moment.
Each day is supported by a blend of practices designed to meet you where you are. Dynamic Vinyasa flow builds warmth and energy, Yin yoga invites deep release, and Kundalini practices help clear and rebalance from within. Meditation, breath work, and sound healing are woven throughout the week, offering space for both reflection and restoration.
Beyond the yoga space, the experience continues. Time in nature, nourishing food, rest, and meaningful conversation all play their part. Nothing is rushed, nothing is forced — you are simply given the conditions to feel well again.
This is where clarity returns, energy rebuilds, and you reconnect not only with your body and mind, but with the quieter, steadier part of yourself that daily life can sometimes drown out.
The People Behind the Retreats
Retreats are personally led and taught by Ananda ~ Madeline Diaz Meiners, with nourishing, restaurant-quality meals created by her partner César Gastardelli, a Michelin-trained chef. Supporting guests throughout their stay is Sarah Hockley, our onsite Retreat Coordinator, ensuring every detail flows with ease and care.
Together, we hold a space that feels personal, supportive, and quietly luxurious.
